If Question One’s building bond is approved:
🏠 A $200,000 home would see an estimated $7.88/month increase starting in 2026.
🌾 An agricultural homestead valued at $10,000/acre would see $0.07/acre per month starting in 2026.
If Question Two’s operating levy is approved, residents would see no change in their tax commitment as the levy would continue at the rate of the past few years.

Students and staff at GHEC exercised with purpose yesterday as we remembered the bravery of 9/11. Grades 5, 9, and 10 walked the bleachers 231 times; enough to reach the top of the twin towers.

1️⃣ We do not have adequate room to support our students and staff.
🏫 Current enrollment has pushed us to use every available area, even spaces not designed for learning. Class sizes are larger than we have historically maintained, and many key areas, including shops, Special Education rooms, restrooms, and food service spaces, do not meet Minnesota Department of Education guidelines. Our cafeteria, kitchen, and storage are also undersized, limiting our ability to serve students safely and efficiently.
2️⃣ Key infrastructure improvements are needed to reduce stress on our 10-year Long-Term Facilities Maintenance (LTFM) plan.
🛠️ To reduce stress on our 10-year Long-Term Facilities Maintenance (LTFM) plan, proactive updates are needed to keep schools safe, efficient, and cost-effective. Nearly $4.4 million in projects are projected over the next nine years, including building, mechanical, plumbing, roof, and site upgrades. Other areas, like event parking, athletic field lighting, locker rooms, and the bus garage, also need improvements to serve students and the community better.
