On Tuesday, November 4, GHEC residents will consider two ballot questions. Question One asks residents to consider an $8.745 million building bond referendum to make critical improvements to our facility, and Question Two asks residents to approve a new, reduced operating levy to maintain our staff, educational programs, and services. Communicating with our residents is important, and a dedicated website is now available that provides information about our facility challenges, the proposed plan, cost and tax impact, voting, and more.

GHEC School is seeking elementary teachers who wish to join our team and school community.
GHEC is looking for a High School Science teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.
Piñatas! The 4 year old Preschool class, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades all celebrated the last week of school with the High School Spanish 2 class breaking piñatas. The High School class had fun making the piñatas for the younger grades! We had Garfield, Hot Air Balloon, Stewie, a Minion, an Avocado, and a Hedgehog. It was so fun to hear all the giggles as the students worked to break their piñata.

A special shoutout to Elsa Thompson and Josie Moeller, who are in their first season of golf — it’s truly impressive that you both made it to the section tournament! Your determination and progress have been fun to watch.
And a HUGE congratulations to Landon Zimmer, who tied for 4th place to secure a spot at the State Tournament at Pebble Creek Golf Club in Becker, MN on June 10th and 11th! We’re so excited for you and can’t wait to see you represent our school at the next level!

Spanish 2 worked on creating lessons to present to our 4 year old preschool through 3rd grade. This was something new we tried this year. It was fun to see the high schools take on a teacher role in the classroom. All Pre-k-3rd grade received a fun Spanish dictionary coloring book that the high schoolers put together for them! Hope to continue this next year!
