Even though it is a no school day for students today, our awesome GHEC staff is continuing to learn. Our staff focus for today is mental health and school safety. We are grateful for a group of teachers who want to be at their best to help our students be at their best!


Today our freshmen Intro to Ag class learned about SAE projects from one of Minnesota’s State Officers! This lesson consisted of drawing ducks, taping hands together, and setting goals for our future!

This beautiful cedar lined oak hope chest was built by Jacob M. in his 1st semester Makertime class. The John deere logo was produced using a CNC router.

5th Grade Reading Cafe' Group 🎄"Holidays Around The World"🌎 Project
They 5th graders researched a country along with their holiday celebration, completed a writing pennant, created a google slide presentation, found a recipe of their countries holiday treat to make and share!

Reading: Read a biography on a historic figure.
Writing/Speaking: Completed a writing flip book and presented.
Art: Created their historic person out a pop bottle.
Technology: Creating a google slide presentation.

Due to the winter weather expected for tomorrow, GHEC Schools will be Closing on Friday, January 14th, 2022. This will be an E-Learning day for students in grades 6-12.

Today, Spanish classes celebrated "El Día de Los Reyes Magos". Students checked their zapatos to see what the 3 Reyes brought them today!
